Dressed to the Nines

So my buddy Bathsalt-Chama drew this picture: fav.me/d77zew4 of a 1920's AU Burns/Smithers.... and I was like: Burns/Smithers?!? The 1920's?!?! Those are two of the BEST THINGS EVAR.

So anyway, they totally inspired me to draw this... because Burns/Smithers and the 1920's!

I hope it has the right kinda feel to it. I've never drawn anything in this time period before, but I did look at a lot of reference pictures of clothes, furniture, etc. to get ideas. I think this is actually my personal favorite of all the Burns/Smithers pics that I've drawn so far too.

(And Smithers has his hair slicked back to be in style, but it still curls up a little at the ends. I think he actually had his hair like this in one episode, but I can't remember which now.)
